I wanted to create a place that felt more intimate.  I love the sharing, resources and information available on social media and I hope to continue using it as a powerful tool to gain and provide very useful information.

I created Caboodle so that I could share the closeness, familiarity and camaraderie that I have enjoyed at meetings and make it available online, when being present in person is not an option. While Caboodle is no substitute for a face-to-face interaction, I’ve learned the hard way that it isn’t always possible to be there, despite how badly you wish it to be so.

The hours and times you are available aren’t always conducive to what the world around you has to offer.  I have gained the most comfort as a caregiver through meeting and listening to others who understand what I am going through and with far less explanation of myself to gain mutual understanding.  

I want Caboodle to be a place you can go when it is convenient to you, something that is there for you at your convenience, when you need it.
