We had more free time last summer than usual when school was out and I decided to take my children for some sibling bonding through horse therapy. They enjoyed visiting the farm once a week during the summer months and it was a nice break from the normal routine.
I enjoyed the focus on nurturing their relationship and the horses were very peaceful and serene. Although the therapy was technically for my kids, I found it to be therapeutic for me as well.
What less conventional types of therapies have you tried, considered and would like to recommend?
Do you have an experience with Horse Therapy you would like to share? How about Recreational, Dance or Music Therapy?
Send us your recommendations and we will post them on the website for our other caregivers.
